Letter of Agreement between Lauri Smith of Voice Matters, LLC (Coach) and (Client)
Agreement
You are entering into this agreement and hiring me as your coach because you want to make significant changes in your leadership and speaking. This agreement will begin on the day this contract is signed and continue for the duration of the coaching relationship.
Commitment
Coaching is a process. While many people experience immediate growth, sustainable change happens over time. Because of this, you are making a commitment to participate fully for the duration of our time working together. This may include 1:1s, Leader Circles, Open Mic Feedback Sessions, Wiggle Wednesday Speaker Warm-Ups, Pop-up Playshops, Retreats, and other events.
As your coach, you have my word that I am 100% committed to you being powerful, successful, and to having the impact that you want. However, I cannot guarantee results. You are responsible for your results during this engagement. By signing this agreement, you are releasing Lauri Smith and Voice Matters, LLC of any liability. You will create powerful results by having the courage and determination to commit fully to the process. My most successful clients proactively schedule their sessions, enthusiastically complete assignments and challenges, practice the techniques, and apply and implement the strategies we design. The more committed you are to the process, the more powerful our collaboration will be.
Confidentiality:
Our relationship is completely confidential. I will not reveal the content of our coaching sessions to anyone without your permission. This is sacred. You are free to share whatever you choose from our sessions with anyone.

Time and Scheduling:
We will begin our sessions on time, in honor of our commitment. If you're running late, please email ahead of time or text 650-888-3950 with an updated status.
Cancellations
In our busy lives, each of us will occasionally need to move a session. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, you are welcome to do so using the link in the automated confirmation emails you receive or to have your admin contact me. Please do your best to cancel/reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. This is out of respect for my time and schedule, but also because I want you to take full responsibility for your own experience, plan ahead, show up prepared, and take this process seriously. I will extend to you the same courtesy and give you as much advance notice as possible. I will let you know about my vacations in advance. In the case of last minute cancellations or emergencies, please text me instead.
Fees
Your investment for the program is non-refundable and non-transferrable. In the event of your absence or withdrawal, you will remain fully responsible for any unpaid balance of the engagement. By signing this agreement, you agree to be legally obligated to pay the full amount of program. Payments are due whether you fully participate in the program or not.
At the end of the program, we will check in and determine whether you feel complete or would like to continue. At that time we will explore options for continuing, from working 1:1, to enrolling in another group program, to continuing on a month-to-month basis.
Technology:
You will need to have a basic understanding of modern technology to participate in this program. This includes using your personal computer, tablet, or smart phone, as well as knowing how Zoom Conferencing operates on your chosen device so that you may attend and participate in Studio Events. While we will do our best to support you with any issues you encounter, we are not experts in the idiosyncrasies or ins-and-outs of every device on the market.
Contact:
When we meet via Zoom Conferencing, you will receive a meeting notice with log on instructions. In between sessions, if you would like to share homework accountability, a success or a problem with me at non-coaching times please share in the Forum or contact me via email at Lauri@Voice-Matters.com. I'll respond to you as soon as I am able or, if appropriate, I'll weave a response in during our next session.
Completing Our Relationship:
Should we continue 1:1 on a month-to-month basis after the initial engagement, please give me two weeks notice when you decide it is time to end our coaching relationship, This will give us time to capture your learning, celebrate it and strategize for what is next in your life.
